Registration & Booking
How can I register for a seminar or workshop?
You can register for the desired event directly via our website. Simply select the appropriate event and follow the registration process. Events | WZLforum
What information do I need to register?
For the registration we need the following information to ensure a smooth organization and communication:
- First name and surname of the participating person
- Indication of whether it is a company or a private individual
- Address (for companies the company address)
- E-mail address (for general information)
- Personalized e-mail address (for direct communication with the participant, if an information or secretarial e-mail is used, a personal e-mail can also be entered here – it is also possible to enter the same e-mail address in both fields)
- Telephone number (for last-minute queries or important information about the event)
With this information we can ensure that you receive all relevant information about the event in good time.
Can I cancel my seminar participation or rebook it for another date?
Cancellations can be made in writing by letter or e-mail to info@wzlforum.rwth-aachen.de. Cancellations up to one week before the start of the event will be charged € 100 for administrative costs. After that, the full participation fee will be charged. However, you can nominate a substitute participant from your company at any time. Please also note our general terms and conditions.

Which payment methods are accepted?
We offer you the following payment methods to make the payment process as flexible and convenient as possible:

Are the training courses eligible for funding?
Yes, there are various funding models that support you in your individual further training. You can find an overview of the options here
Organization of the event
Will the event take place online or on site?
We offer face-to-face events as well as online or hybrid formats. Please note the information in the respective event description. Events | WZLforum or E-Learning as a Service
What technical requirements do I need for online events?
To use the e-learning courses, you need a laptop or desktop PC and a stable internet connection. Make sure that your device has sufficient battery capacity or that the power supply is guaranteed. We recommend a headset and a webcam so that you can be seen by the other participants and the lecturers.
In which language are the events held?
Most of our events are held in German. Some events are also held in English or simultaneous translation is provided. The language is indicated in the event description.
Who are the training formats aimed at?
For participants from industry and research. The target group varies depending on the format and thematic focus. You can find more detailed information by clicking on the events relevant to you.
Who are the lecturers and speakers/experts?
Our events are led by lecturers from RWTH Aachen University and experts from industry or from our cooperation partners. For details, please refer to the respective event descriptions.
Is there a maximum number of participants?
Some of our formats have a maximum number of participants. A non-binding reservation is possible. Please contact us!

Can I take part without any previous knowledge?
The required prior knowledge varies depending on the event. Information on this can be found in the respective description. If you have any questions, we will be happy to advise you personally. Contact | WZLforum
Will I receive a certificate on completion?
- Certificate courses: If you take part in one of our certificate courses, you can receive an official certificate from RWTH Aachen Campus after passing the certificate examination. This certifies the knowledge and skills you have acquired.
- Other events: At our seminars, workshops and congresses, you will usually receive a certificate of attendance confirming your participation.
Are there event documents and how do I get them?
The course materials for our formats are generally made available via our digital learning platform EduLearn. You will receive your individual access data by email from our participant management team before the start of the course. Please check your inbox for this
Are meals and training documents included in the price?
The fee includes the costs for the event as well as documents and catering for the day (coffee breaks and lunch). If an evening event is planned, the costs are also included in the price. Travel and accommodation costs are not included.
How do I get access to online courses?
You will receive your individual access data for our digital learning platform EduLearn by email before the start of the event. If you have any problems with logging in, please contact our information service.
What happens if an event is canceled?
If an event is canceled, you will be informed of the cancellation by telephone and e-mail. We will be happy to coordinate the desired procedure with you and offer to rebook your participation for a later date.
